Tour in Naples of 4 days and 3 nights

Day 1 – Naples

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Naples. Naples is one of the most famous Italian city for its historical background and wonderful places: Pino Daniele, one of the most important neapolitan singer stated that “Napule è mille culure” (Naples has thousand of shades). The tour starts with a guided visit to the historical centre declared World heritage sites by UNESCO. You remain speechless admiring the beauty of Cristo Velato in the Sansevero’s Chapel: the magnificent marble statue. Then, Castel dell’Ovo, situated on the small island of Megaride where it is said that the siren Partenope laid before dying. Palazzo Reale where The Borbons lived in luxury. Finally, you can’t miss a walking through the alleys and shops of “Spaccanapoli”, one of the most famous street in Naples where culture, art and Neapolitan traditions mix up in a folkloristic atmosphere. In the evening, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 – Pompeii and Vesuvius

After breakfast, departure for an exciting excursion to visit the majestic volcano located on the Gulf of Naples called VESUVIUS. The bus will bring participants up to the crater and they will be accompanied by an expert volcanologist. Later, excursion to the archeological site of Pompeii, the ancient city destroyed by the terrible eruption in 79 AD: the city came out from ashes around 1740s and it is the best way to be fully immerse in a city stopped at Roman Age with its street and villas. In the evening dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 – Baia sommersa and Campi Flegrei

After breakfast, departure for Baia, the Roman city that sunk below sea level because of bradyseism phenomenon. In an amazing boat trip with a clear bottom, visitors can admire the amazing archeological treasures that lie underwater such as statues, mosaics and villas which let us understand the richness and the magnificence of the ancient city of Baia. Then, visit to Baia Castle built with the purpose of defending the coast from Saracen attacks. Finally excursion to the regional park of Campi Flegrei (Phlegraean Fields): a large volcanic area – once known as the home of Roman god Vulcan – where you can enjoy the show of natural effusive gaseous manifestations from the burning heart of Earth. Day 4 – Città della Scienza

After breakfast, the day starts with a guided tour to one of the most important Italian museum: CITTÀ DELLA SCIENZA, an innovative science center incorporating tradition and new technologies. Visit to “CORPOREA” : the first interactive museum dedicated to human body. Its main goal is to promote Health and healthy lifestyles through multimedia installations and a variety of interactive workshops for adult and children: it’s an awesome exhibition!
